His subspecialty training in rhinology and airway disorders informs treatment of chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction, allergies, sleep apnea, and laryngopharyngeal reflux. Balloon sinuplasty is an endoscopic surgical technique using a catheter-based treatment for people who suffer from chronic sinusitis. It is performed in the office and offers a minimally invasive alternative to traditional sinus surgery.

Dr. Rao treats ear, nose, and throat conditions in both children and adults, including nasal obstruction, allergies, sinusitis, sleep apnea, tonsil and adenoid issues, voice disorders, swallowing disorders, hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, nosebleeds, and laryngopharyngeal reflux.

What is laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR)?
