In 1987, Kerry Moore rejected the cookie-cutter approach and built RKM on a single principle: a small budget doesn't mean cheap construction. Today, RKM designs and builds custom homes across the Front Range, with Kerry present on every job site. The business now passes to his son-in-law Keith, preserving the values and hands-on approach that define the company.

How does RKM keep costs down without cutting corners?

Kerry designs every home himself and oversees construction personally, eliminating layers of markup. RKM also cash-flows projects and pays suppliers within 7–10 days, which keeps subcontractors responsive and timelines tight. Fixed-price agreements mean realistic budgets that cover the entire project.

What happens if I want to change something during construction?

RKM provides quotes for any changes that vary from the original specifications. All changes and allowances are tracked throughout the project so you always know where you stand financially.

Do you work with my own interior designer?

Yes. RKM offers professional interior design services to guide your selections for flooring, countertops, lighting, paint, cabinets, and finishes. If you already have a designer, RKM is happy to work with them instead.

What areas do you build in?

RKM builds across the Front Range, including Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties. Communities include Aurora, Littleton, Centennial, Englewood, Larkspur, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, Elizabeth, and surrounding areas.

Can you build on my lot?

Yes. RKM builds custom homes on your lot or one of their available lots. They also assist with lot selection and real estate referrals if you need help finding the right property.

RKM provides architectural design, lot selection, permitting, detailed budgets, financing options, real estate broker referrals, interior design services, and in-house warranty management.
