The short version
We collect only what we need to produce your report, we never sell your data, and we delete what we don’t need. You can ask us to remove your information at any time by emailing hello@sightline.report.
What we collect
When you request a scan, we collect your business name, website address, email, and anything you choose to tell us. To produce a report, we gather information that is already publicly available about your business online, and we may check trusted public databases.
How we use it
We use this information solely to create and deliver your report, to keep watch if you subscribe to monitoring, and to contact you about your reports. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Public and personal information
Our work is based on public information. Where public sources contain personal data, we handle it carefully, report only in aggregate, keep it to a minimum, and never build profiles of individuals.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide the service, and delete it on request. Free-scan data is kept briefly and then removed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or object to our use of it. Email hello@sightline.report and a person will help.
