What we provide
Sightline produces an informational report about how your business appears from the outside, based only on publicly available information. A report is a point-in-time snapshot to help you prioritise improvements.
What a report is not
A Sightline report is not a penetration test, a security guarantee, or a compliance certification (such as PCI or HIPAA). The absence of a finding does not prove that no issue exists. You are responsible for any changes you choose to make.
Acceptable use
We assess only information that is publicly available. We do not access private systems, and we ask that you only request reports for a business you own or are authorised to represent.
Payment and cancellation
The free scan is free. Paid monitoring is billed monthly or annually, can be cancelled at any time, and includes a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sightline is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, a report. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous three months.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service means you accept the current version.
